We are excited to bring our State Convention back to the birthplace of the Republican Party of Texas, the great city of Houston, July 16-18, at the George R. Brown Convention Center!
The RPT Team, our Republican leadership across the state and our Convention Committees are working around-the-clock preparing for your arrival, not missing a beat to deliver a Convention moment worthy of this year where we will re-elect President Donald J. Trump.
Our march to victory in November for President Trump and our Republicans up and down the ballot officially kicks off in Houston in July! We launch that march on Houston’s bayou banks where our Party began and we will carry that momentum home with us all the way through to Victory on Election Night in November!
During this unprecedented time, we have been blessed to have the President’s leadership along with our many Texas Republican leaders, including our tough U.S. Senators John Cornyn and Ted Cruz, our Republican Congressional delegation who fights the daily battle with Nancy Pelosi and the progressive socialist left in the U.S. House and our strong-and-steady statewide leaders at home led by Governor Greg Abbott and Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick. They have prioritized the health and safety of Texans and proven their leadership is precisely what is needed in our country and our state at the best of times and during even our most challenging times.
As we lay out our plans for Victory in November, Convention delegates will vote on the direction of the Party for the next two years by electing our State Party leaders, defining our Platform and Rules and identifying our Legislative Priorities for the Legislative Session in 2021. We will also elect our National Delegation that will head to Charlotte, North Carolina to nominate President Trump for reelection at the National Convention in August!
